Foetus found in bin. Northern Ireland Abortion Laws MUST change.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-35976228

This tragedy just wrecks me. Northern Ireland is a divided, bigoted, binary country dictated to by religious zealots who have held the monopoly of power over us all for too long and have created tragedy after tragedy after tragedy.

The latest ruling on abortions stigmatises women’s rights and has shocked the country. Please, please pray for healing over here. We’re being governed by right wing, religious, mysogynistic nutters and it’s not good.

A dead foetus was found in a bin because a frightened 19 year old ordered abortion tablets from the internet and took them at home. Had it been anywhere else in the UK, professional, discreet help would have been readily at hand to enable alternative solutions to be discussed with her and she would not have ended up with a criminal record.

BUT, I am a great believer in flipping what we see in the natural and applying it to the spiritual. This horrific circumstance shows us how at the minute, the protection of females and the feminine, creative, multi tasking side of the church must be protected otherwise tragic, grotesque things will happen and births and the new will be aborted and left abandoned.

Lana Vawser has also released a word today with regard to the new birth and movement of the spirit. Pray it into it all. Stay alert and pray at all times and in all circumstances. The Holy Spirit will move and shake the land through us, y’all, but we must carry the power and authority humbly, working in God’s way and not via our own judgmental misinterpretations.

Abortion Laws in Northern Ireland Must Change!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-35962134
Northern Ireland has an archaic judicial system which needs rapid legal incendiary device applied to accelerate it into the 21st Century. If there have been no guidelines or similar cases to compare this case to, then now is the time to step up and change the law before more tragedies like this take place. The legislation, like so many others in this country, is over 150 years old, back before women could vote and we had running water, electricity in our homes and free education for children.  Like everything, there is of course a ‘polarised debate’ on this matter needing urgent reassessing. This is a binary, backward country – binary in that there are only two choices to everything:  religion, sexual choices, gender, brown bread or white, Guinness or Smithwicks. Things like this make me so embarrassed to be Northern Irish. The young girl was obviously filled with social, moral and personal fear. No doubt, there is some religious, right winged, affiliation to the story lurking in the background and about to burst forth in angry, self-righteous song. Please God there is counselling on tap for all involved and please, please God no smug, off key songs from the #DUP and misogynistic religious representatives.  #Prochoice.

Prophetic Word re Azusa Gathering Move coming to California

 images.jpg
Re the Azuza move in California which is scheduled for April – I had a dream last night about the Calabasas Mountains, just outside Santa Monica. There was a swimming pool and there were all these little orange kittens drowning. I was also there with a couple of teacher friends.
Here’s what I’m sensing today as I’ve been pondering it over.
A huge move of redemption in the spirit over California coming .
A cleansing of a spirit of deception (cats)
God’s redemption and a holy fear and anger regarding social injustice coming out of it from the people (red colour – orange is combination of red and yellow). Yellow – lot of people moving courageously towards the outburst of the Holy Spirit as it will be so very wacky when it hits.
Godly fear – and a spirit of fear being destroyed as people repent and are washed clean. They will have to go really deep as the water in the pool was infinitely deep and had no real sign of its depth or of its depth ever ending.
The mountain was the revelation of God.
Down below a lot of people were just carrying on as usual. These guys were dudes I knew from years ago who were involved in religious, church groups. They kept playing basketball in the sunshine oblivious to what was going on up above on the mountain. Their vanity kept them from getting involved in what was going on.
The new move was messy and noisy. It was scratchy just like little kittens. So, be prepared as you go into the Azusa gathering. What happens will be so new and alot of people you expect and want to ‘get’ what the Lord is doing won’t have your back.
I think the teaching aspect means we have to get back to teaching the word but it will be a fresh revelation that draws people in.
The kittens, could refer to a lot of little children, getting hit with the HS – also signifies a playful aspect to this move. We’ll miss it if we’re not childlike.
Oh and also watch for Kim and Kanye blasting the world with a Gospel Message.  The Lord is going to use them and their influence for good.  A lot of redemptive stories will come from them and they will set a lot of people free with their testimonies etc. Global NewsRooms and Corporations will soon be reporting this move of Kimye’s testimonies, the celebrity salvations and of the Azusa move of before and of today.

U.K. Budget 2016

So, the Chancellor has decided that children and teachers who are already in school for breakfast club at 7am and leave at 6pm need to be in there for longer. Have I missed something? This government, who are also increasing the tax on wine and fags, are not just hitting teachers and are running the risk of strikes, mass resignations and schools being run by students needing to take the obligatory NQT year but this will greatly affect children’s morale, their emotional and physical development and subsequently put further strain on family relationships. For any fellow ‪#‎teachers‬ planning a swift move, here’s the TES international jobs for this week. Free housing, more money, tax free in some cases, shorter working days, smaller class sizes. You’re welcome. ‪#‎budget2016‬

Spiritual and Actual Precipitation

images

Precipitation has three significant meanings which I feel are so significant in these days and times.
One meaning is that of moisture and rainfall.
The other two can mean both sudden change of dramatic events and happenings and a coming together of many things into one solid object.
With this in mind, let us not be discouraged by the rainfall and the storms which have recently ravaged our country and our world, but be encouraged that prophetically speaking, as 2016 begins, we are in the midst of change and solidification, renewal, restoration and revival, reconstitution and reconstruction of our lives both in the natural and in the spiritual.

Precipitate someone/thing into) Send someone or something suddenly into a particular state or condition: they were precipitated into a conflict for which they were quite unprepared

Chemistry Cause (a substance) to be deposited in solid form from a solution: cell proteins were then precipitated and washed in 10% trichloroacetic acid

Cause (drops of moisture or particles of dust) to be deposited from the atmosphere or from a vapour or suspension: excess moisture is precipitated as rain, fog, mist, or dew

PROPHETIC WORD, FRIDAY 16TH OCTOBER, 2015, LONDON, UK

Whilst praying and worshiping the Lord last night with a group of friends, some pictures and sounds came into my vision. I asked the Lord to explain what was happening and He showed what He desired to take place in the lives of His much loved brothers and sisters.

Hillsong song: I surrender

This song reminded we of my desert days in the Al Gharbian region of Abu Dhabi when I used to listen to it in the early hours before driving across the desert plains to work. The Lord was showing me at that time how He anoints our heads with oil and our cups overflow. He drew my mind back to those days and told me to tell you that He is now anointing us with fresh oil on our heads and bodies. Look out for this happening as we pray and worship. It may feel wacky at first, perhaps your hair will look greasy in one patch and no matter how much you wash it, it won’t look clean. Believe me, it IS clean hair! You’ve just got the anointing of the Lord on your head. You’re blessed. The Lord is touching your head and is WITH YOU! There will be more real life manifestations of the touch of Jesus on our lives now as we worship. Don’t be afraid. Be awed! This is the new thing He promised us. It’s the new wine in the new wineskin. Just roll with it. Cool things are happening and we’re part of it. It is vital that we are not afraid of looking stupid as we worship the Lord. Just as King David danced before the Lord and annoyed his wife, don’t let yourself be restricted by how you may look to others as you are worshiping the Lord. He will honour our obedience in our worship.

2 Samuel 6 15 David and all the Israelites were excited—they shouted and blew the trumpet as they brought the Lord’s Holy Box into the city. 16 Saul’s daughter Michal was looking out the window. While the Lord’s Holy Box was being carried into the city, David was jumping and dancing before the Lord. Michal saw this, and she was upset at David. 17 David put up a tent for the Holy Box. The Israelites put the Lord’s Holy Box in its place under the tent. Then David offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before the Lord.18 After David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord All-Powerful. 19 He also gave a share of bread, a raisin cake, and some date bread to every man and woman of Israel. Then all the people went home.20 David went back to bless his house, but Saul’s daughter Michal came out to meet him. She said, “The king of Israel did not honor himself today! You took off your clothes in front of your servants’ girls. You were like a fool who takes off his clothes without shame!”21 Then David said to Michal, “The Lord chose me, not your father or anyone from his family. The Lord chose me to be leader of his people, the Israelites. So I will continue dancing and celebrating in front of the Lord. 22 I might do things that are even more embarrassing! Maybe you will not respect me, but the girls you are talking about are proud of me!”23 Saul’s daughter Michal never had a child. She died without having any children.

2.  Apple trees.

This has nothing to do with temptation, although I did sense that the Lord wanted to emphasize His salvation NEVER runs out or that He changes His mind some days and takes it from us when we slip up or have a bad day. He is the same yesterday, today and forever and His love for us never fails. The apples were ripe and ready for harvest. The orchard was so beautiful. Everything the Lord creates is beautiful. I don’t think we really take enough time to really let this sink it. Take a minute now, close your eyes and ask the Holy Spirit to bring to mind some beautiful things you’ve noticed in the world around you recently. Ask Him to give you new eyes to notice and to delight in His creation.   These new eyes and heart of gratitude will change you, your environment, your family and your work and change the world. We need to be ready to pick the apples and take the harvest. Many of us have prayed and prayed and prayed and seen no results but now the results of our prayers are right before us. Take the apples and eat them. The blessings of the Lord are good and for our good. Enjoy them!

3.  Persist in your prayers

I was surrounded by a bright light and I started to look up. I could see the nail marked feet of Jesus above my head. He was seated on the throne and I so very badly wanted to get His attention so I started tap, tap, tapping on the bottom of the throne and shouting out to Him that I was there and didn’t He see me and to pull me up. “Hey! I’m here! Hello! I’m right here! Can’t you see me? Hello Lord, I’m here! Jesus! Can’t you see me? I want to come up! I want to come up!” The Lord replied, ‘Of course I can see you. Come up here. Pull my arm and come up!” I stretched out my arm and He pulled me up and I could see a whole vision of a Promised Land in front of me. He told me to tell you that He wants you to persist in your prayers and your callings out to Him. He hears you but wants you to really think about if you are willing to take the risk and be pulled up into another earthly dimension to gain a fresh, global perspective? Read the story of the Persistent Widow in Luke 18. Persist. But also read the rest of the chapter and be reminded of when the Lord answers your prayers and blesses you, walk humbly, be childlike, be obedient and look at the world through the eyes of Kingdom currency and value.

Revelation 4: 1 (Jesus says to John when He is showing Him heaven): Come up here and I will show you what will happen after this.

Revelation 11: 12: Then the two witnesses heard a loud voice from heaven say, “ Come up here!” And both of them went up into heaven in a cloud. Their enemies watched them go!

4.  Two Keys

I could hear the sound of rattling keys on an old jailer’s keys. The Lord was saying that He is our ‘Get Out Of Jail Free’ Jailer. There were two keys on each one of these circular key rings. One key is the key to all the things you’ve locked away which have hurt you deeply and you’d prefer not to deal with. The Lord wants you to ask Him to come to you with your particular key ring with your own two keys to open up that box of pain, shame, regret, hurt and allow Him to go through it with you. The other key is to open the door into a Promised Land specifically designed for you to carry out His plans for your life and for the good of the Kingdom. Plans for you to prosper and not to harm you. Plans for your hope and a future. But you must deal with the first smaller box of darkness and pain before you can open the door and enter your own specially designed Promised Land.

Revelation 118 I am the one who lives. I was dead, but look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

Day Twenty Two

I have based this prayer on the passage from Ephesians 3 v 14-19. I hope it helps you.

Your love, Lord, is greater than anyone could ever know or understand.

Please help me, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to know that love so that I may be filled with everything you, lovely Father, have for me.

Thank you Lord for all you have done and all you will do.

Please forgive my wobbly faith. Strengthen and renew it, Lord.

Jesus, please live in my heart in spite of my ever wobbling faith.

Lord, give me the power to be strong in my spirit through your great love for me.

Give me that strength through your Holy Spirit.

Dear Lord, please make my life strong in love, and be built on love.

May I please understand through the power of the Holy Spirit, the greatness of your love for me – how wide, how long, how high and how deep that love is.

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Day Twenty One

I was awakened by the rain in London early on Wednesday morning and I heard the Lord say that just as we can’t count all the rain drops that fall, so shall it be with a) the number of salvations into the kingdom during this time and b) His blessings being poured out on the believers. These are the days of the latter rain when the spirit is being poured out on all men and women. Old men and women dreaming dreams and young men and women have visions.

Days Fifteen – Twenty

Psalm 37 Good News Translation (GNT)

The Destiny of the Wicked and of the Good[a]

Don’t be worried on account of the wicked;
    don’t be jealous of those who do wrong.
They will soon disappear like grass that dries up;
    they will die like plants that wither.

Trust in the Lord and do good;
    live in the land and be safe.
Seek your happiness in the Lord,
    and he will give you your heart’s desire.

Give yourself to the Lord;
    trust in him, and he will help you;
he will make your righteousness shine like the noonday sun.

Be patient and wait for the Lord to act;
    don’t be worried about those who prosper
    or those who succeed in their evil plans.

Don’t give in to worry or anger;
    it only leads to trouble.
Those who trust in the Lord will possess the land,
    but the wicked will be driven out.

10 Soon the wicked will disappear;
    you may look for them, but you won’t find them;
11 but the humble will possess the land
    and enjoy prosperity and peace.

12 The wicked plot against good people
    and glare at them with hate.
13 But the Lord laughs at wicked people,
    because he knows they will soon be destroyed.

14 The wicked draw their swords and bend their bows
    to kill the poor and needy,
    to slaughter those who do what is right;
15 but they will be killed by their own swords,
    and their bows will be smashed.

16 The little that a good person owns
    is worth more than the wealth of all the wicked,
17 because the Lord will take away the strength of the wicked,
    but protect those who are good.

18 The Lord takes care of those who obey him,
    and the land will be theirs forever.
19 They will not suffer when times are bad;
    they will have enough in time of famine.
20 But the wicked will die;
    the enemies of the Lord will vanish like wild flowers;
    they will disappear like smoke.

21 The wicked borrow and never pay back,
    but good people are generous with their gifts.
22 Those who are blessed by the Lord will possess the land,
    but those who are cursed by him will be driven out.

23 The Lord guides us in the way we should go
    and protects those who please him.
24 If they fall, they will not stay down,
    because the Lord will help them up.

25 I am old now; I have lived a long time,
    but I have never seen good people abandoned by the Lord
    or their children begging for food.
26 At all times they give freely and lend to others,
    and their children are a blessing.

27 Turn away from evil and do good,
    and your descendants will always live in the land;
28 for the Lord loves what is right
    and does not abandon his faithful people.
He protects them forever,
    but the descendants of the wicked will be driven out.
29 The righteous will possess the land
    and live in it forever.

30 The words of good people are wise,
    and they are always fair.
31 They keep the law of their God in their hearts
    and never depart from it.

32 Wicked people watch good people
    and try to kill them;
33 but the Lord will not abandon them to their enemy’s power
    or let them be condemned when they are on trial.

34 Put your hope in the Lord and obey his commands;
    he will honor you by giving you the land,
    and you will see the wicked driven out.

35 I once knew someone wicked who was a tyrant;
    he towered over everyone like a cedar of Lebanon;[b]
36 but later I[c] passed by, and he wasn’t there;
    I looked for him, but couldn’t find him.

37 Notice good people, observe the righteous;
    peaceful people have descendants,
38 but sinners are completely destroyed,
    and their descendants are wiped out.

39 The Lord saves the righteous
    and protects them in times of trouble.
40 He helps them and rescues them;
    he saves them from the wicked,
    because they go to him for protection.

Day Fourteen

Romans 12 The Message (MSG)

Place Your Life Before God

12 1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Day Thirteen

This article is written by Joel Osteen. It highlights how it’s so important to pay attention to what’s going on around us and avoid a robotic approach to daily living. We never know who or what is around the corner in how we interact with others.

Today’s Scripture
“The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it…”
(Psalm 24:1, AMP)

Living the Full Life
God wants you to live an abundant and satisfied life. He wants you to enjoy the fullness of the earth and life’s experiences. When you open your mind to new things and new situations, you are broadening your horizons and opening yourself to new opportunities.

It’s easy to get stuck in a rut, doing the same thing the same way all the time. But when you open yourself to new people and new ideas, you are making room for God to reveal Himself to you. You are making room for Him to work in your life. Make the decision to explore something new this week. Take a different route home from work. Try something new on the menu at lunch. Be open to new people who may not necessarily look like you or act like you. Let God direct and broaden your horizons. As you do, you’ll encounter new opportunities and live the satisfied, full life the Lord has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today
“Heavenly Father, I open my heart and mind to You today. I ask that You help me broaden my perspective so I can experience the full life You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Day Twelve

Psalm 9  The Message (MSG)

A David Psalm

1-2 I’m thanking you, God, from a full heart,
    I’m writing the book on your wonders.
I’m whistling, laughing, and jumping for joy;
    I’m singing your song, High God.

3-4 The day my enemies turned tail and ran,
    they stumbled on you and fell on their faces.
You took over and set everything right;
    when I needed you, you were there, taking charge.

5-6 You blow the whistle on godless nations;
    you throw dirty players out of the game,
    wipe their names right off the roster.
Enemies disappear from the sidelines,
    their reputation trashed,
    their names erased from the halls of fame.

7-8 God holds the high center,
    he sees and sets the world’s mess right.
He decides what is right for us earthlings,
    gives people their just deserts.

9-10 God’s a safe-house for the battered,
    a sanctuary during bad times.
The moment you arrive, you relax;
    you’re never sorry you knocked.

11-12 Sing your songs to Zion-dwelling God,
    tell his stories to everyone you meet:
How he tracks down killers
    yet keeps his eye on us,
    registers every whimper and moan.

13-14 Be kind to me, God;
    I’ve been kicked around long enough.
Once you’ve pulled me back
    from the gates of death,
I’ll write the book on Hallelujahs;
    on the corner of Main and First
    I’ll hold a street meeting;
I’ll be the song leader; we’ll fill the air
    with salvation songs.

15-16 They’re trapped, those godless countries,
    in the very snares they set,
Their feet all tangled
    in the net they spread.
They have no excuse;
    the way God works is well-known.
The cunning machinery made by the wicked
    has maimed their own hands.

17-20 The wicked bought a one-way
    ticket to hell.
No longer will the poor be nameless—
    no more humiliation for the humble.
Up, God! Aren’t you fed up with their empty strutting?
    Expose these grand pretensions!
Shake them up, God!
    Show them how silly they look.

Day Eleven

Psalm 18

For the director of music. Of David the servant of the Lord. He sang to the Lord the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said:

I love you, Lord, my strength.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
    my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
    my shield[b] and the horn[c] of my salvation, my stronghold.

I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
    and I have been saved from my enemies.
The cords of death entangled me;
    the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me.
The cords of the grave coiled around me;
    the snares of death confronted me.

In my distress I called to the Lord;
    I cried to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice;
    my cry came before him, into his ears.
The earth trembled and quaked,
    and the foundations of the mountains shook;
    they trembled because he was angry.
Smoke rose from his nostrils;
    consuming fire came from his mouth,
    burning coals blazed out of it.
He parted the heavens and came down;
    dark clouds were under his feet.
10 He mounted the cherubim and flew;
    he soared on the wings of the wind.
11 He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him—
    the dark rain clouds of the sky.
12 Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced,
    with hailstones and bolts of lightning.
13 The Lord thundered from heaven;
    the voice of the Most High resounded.[d]
14 He shot his arrows and scattered the enemy,
    with great bolts of lightning he routed them.
15 The valleys of the sea were exposed
    and the foundations of the earth laid bare
at your rebuke, Lord,
    at the blast of breath from your nostrils.

16 He reached down from on high and took hold of me;
    he drew me out of deep waters.
17 He rescued me from my powerful enemy,
    from my foes, who were too strong for me.
18 They confronted me in the day of my disaster,
    but the Lord was my support.
19 He brought me out into a spacious place;
    he rescued me because he delighted in me.

20 The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness;
    according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me.
21 For I have kept the ways of the Lord;
    I am not guilty of turning from my God.
22 All his laws are before me;
    I have not turned away from his decrees.
23 I have been blameless before him
    and have kept myself from sin.
24 The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness,
    according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.

25 To the faithful you show yourself faithful,
    to the blameless you show yourself blameless,
26 to the pure you show yourself pure,
    but to the devious you show yourself shrewd.
27 You save the humble
    but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.
28 You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
    my God turns my darkness into light.
29 With your help I can advance against a troop[e];
    with my God I can scale a wall.

30 As for God, his way is perfect:
    The Lord’s word is flawless;
    he shields all who take refuge in him.
31 For who is God besides the Lord?
    And who is the Rock except our God?
32 It is God who arms me with strength
    and keeps my way secure.
33 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;
    he causes me to stand on the heights.
34 He trains my hands for battle;
    my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
35 You make your saving help my shield,
    and your right hand sustains me;
    your help has made me great.
36 You provide a broad path for my feet,
    so that my ankles do not give way.

37 I pursued my enemies and overtook them;
    I did not turn back till they were destroyed.
38 I crushed them so that they could not rise;
    they fell beneath my feet.
39 You armed me with strength for battle;
    you humbled my adversaries before me.
40 You made my enemies turn their backs in flight,
    and I destroyed my foes.
41 They cried for help, but there was no one to save them—
    to the Lord, but he did not answer.
42 I beat them as fine as windblown dust;
    I trampled them[f] like mud in the streets.
43 You have delivered me from the attacks of the people;
    you have made me the head of nations.
People I did not know now serve me,
44     foreigners cower before me;
    as soon as they hear of me, they obey me.
45 They all lose heart;
    they come trembling from their strongholds.

46 The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock!
    Exalted be God my Savior!
47 He is the God who avenges me,
    who subdues nations under me,
48     who saves me from my enemies.
You exalted me above my foes;
    from a violent man you rescued me.
49 Therefore I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
    I will sing the praises of your name.

50 He gives his king great victories;
    he shows unfailing love to his anointed,
    to David and to his descendants forever.

Day Ten

Psalm 15

Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

A song of David.

15 Lord, who can live in your Holy Tent[a]?
    Who can live on your holy mountain?
Only those who live pure lives, do what is right,
    and speak the truth from their hearts.
Such people don’t say bad things about others.
    They don’t do things to hurt their neighbors.
    They don’t tell shameful things about those close to them.
They hate those who fail to please God
    and honor those who respect the Lord.
If they make a promise to their neighbor,
    they do what they promised.[b]
If they loan money to someone,
    they do not charge them interest.
And they refuse to testify against an innocent person,
    even if someone offers them money to do it.

Whoever lives like this will always stand strong.

Day Nine

Psalm 33

Living Bible (TLB)

33 Let all the joys of the godly well up in praise to the Lord, for it is right to praise him. Play joyous melodies of praise upon the lyre and on the harp. Compose new songs of praise to him, accompanied skillfully on the harp; sing joyfully.

For all God’s words are right, and everything he does is worthy of our trust. He loves whatever is just and good; the earth is filled with his tender love. He merely spoke, and the heavens were formed and all the galaxies of stars. He made the oceans, pouring them into his vast reservoirs.

Let everyone in all the world—men, women, and children—fear the Lord and stand in awe of him. For when he but spoke, the world began! It appeared at his command! 10 And with a breath he can scatter the plans of all the nations who oppose him, 11 but his own plan stands forever. His intentions are the same for every generation.

12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his own. 13-15 The Lord gazes down upon mankind from heaven where he lives. He has made their hearts and closely watches everything they do.

16-17 The best-equipped army cannot save a king—for great strength is not enough to save anyone. A war horse is a poor risk for winning victories—it is strong, but it cannot save.

18-19 But the eyes of the Lord are watching over those who fear him, who rely upon his steady love. He will keep them from death even in times of famine! 20 We depend upon the Lord alone to save us. Only he can help us; he protects us like a shield. 21 No wonder we are happy in the Lord! For we are trusting him. We trust his holy name. 22 Yes, Lord, let your constant love surround us, for our hopes are in you alone.

Day Eight

1 Timothy 2

Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

God Wants Us to Pray for Everyone

First of all, I ask that you pray for all people. Ask God to bless them and give them what they need. And give thanks. You should pray for rulers and for all who have authority. Pray for these leaders so that we can live quiet and peaceful lives—lives full of devotion to God and respect for him. This is good and pleases God our Savior.

God wants everyone to be saved and to fully understand the truth. There is only one God, and there is only one way that people can reach God. That way is through Christ Jesus, who as a man gave himself to pay for everyone to be free. This is the message that was given to us at just the right time. And I was chosen as an apostle to tell people that message. (I am telling the truth. I am not lying.) I was chosen to teach those who are not Jews to believe and understand the truth.

Special Instructions for Men and Women

I want the men everywhere to pray. Men who lift their hands in prayer must be devoted to God and pleasing to him. They must be men who keep themselves from getting angry and having arguments.

And I want the women to make themselves attractive in the right way. Their clothes should be sensible and appropriate. They should not draw attention to themselves with fancy hairstyles or gold jewelry or pearls or expensive clothes. 10 But they should make themselves attractive by the good things they do. That is more appropriate for women who say they are devoted to God.

Day Seven

Psalm 86 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

A prayer of David.

86 I am a poor, helpless man.
    Lord, please listen to me and answer my prayer!
I am your follower, so please protect me.
    I am your servant, and you are my God.
    I trust in you, so save me.
My Lord, be kind to me.
    I have been praying to you all day.
My Lord, I put my life in your hands.
    I am your servant, so make me happy.
My Lord, you are good and merciful.
    You love all those who call to you for help.
Lord, hear my prayer.
    Listen to my cry for mercy.
I am praying to you in my time of trouble.
    I know you will answer me.
My Lord, there is no God like you.
    No one can do what you have done.
My Lord, you made everyone.
    I wish they all would come worship you and honor your name.
10 You are great and do amazing things.
    You and you alone are God.
11 Lord, teach me your ways,
    and I will live and obey your truths.
Help me make worshiping your name
    the most important thing in my life.
12 My Lord God, I praise you with all my heart.
    I will honor your name forever!
13 You have such great love for me.
    You save me from the place of death.
14 Proud people are attacking me, God.
    A gang of cruel men is trying to kill me.
    They don’t respect you.
15 My Lord, you are a kind and merciful God.
    You are patient, loyal, and full of love.
16 Show that you hear me and be kind to me.
    I am your servant, so give me strength.
    I am your slave, as my mother was, so save me!
17 Lord, show me a sign that you care for me.
    My enemies will see it and be disappointed,
    because you helped and comforted me.

Days Three – Six

Psalm 91

Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

You can go to God Most High to hide.
    You can go to God All-Powerful for protection.
I say to the Lord, “You are my place of safety, my fortress.
    My God, I trust in you.”
God will save you from hidden dangers
    and from deadly diseases.
You can go to him for protection.
    He will cover you like a bird spreading its wings over its babies.
    You can trust him to surround and protect you like a shield.
You will have nothing to fear at night
    and no need to be afraid of enemy arrows during the day.
You will have no fear of diseases that come in the dark
    or terrible suffering that comes at noon.
A thousand people may fall dead at your side
    or ten thousand right beside you,
    but nothing bad will happen to you!
All you will have to do is watch,
    and you will see that the wicked are punished.
You trust in the Lord for protection.
    You have made God Most High your place of safety.
10 So nothing bad will happen to you.
    No diseases will come near your home.
11 He will command his angels to protect you wherever you go.
12 Their hands will catch you
    so that you will not hit your foot on a rock.
13 You will have power to trample on lions
    and poisonous snakes.
14 The Lord says, “If someone trusts me, I will save them.
    I will protect my followers who call to me for help.
15 When my followers call to me, I will answer them.
    I will be with them when they are in trouble.
    I will rescue them and honor them.
16 I will give my followers a long life
    and show them my power to save.”

Day Two

Psalm 23 The Message (MSG)

A David Psalm

23 1-3 God, my shepherd!
    I don’t need a thing.
You have bedded me down in lush meadows,
    you find me quiet pools to drink from.
True to your word,
    you let me catch my breath
    and send me in the right direction.

Even when the way goes through
    Death Valley,
I’m not afraid
    when you walk at my side.
Your trusty shepherd’s crook
    makes me feel secure.

You serve me a six-course dinner
    right in front of my enemies.
You revive my drooping head;
    my cup brims with blessing.

Your beauty and love chase after me
    every day of my life.
I’m back home in the house of God
    for the rest of my life.

Day One

We’ve been called by our church to pray for the next forty days and this really has been the most difficult day to find time and pray to the Lord for something, anything, which He would put on my heart. Nothing came. I had the entire day off work and had plenty of time to set aside to wait and write and think and reflect and pray but it never happened. I didn’t allow myself to be still today. Not for one minute. So I’m writing this quickly at the midnight hour hoping someone, somewhere will be encouraged and encourage me through prayer to walk through these next forty (now thirty nine) days in prayer to see the changes in the nation and world as a result. My writing is so haphazard and I feel like such a fraud but I pray, sincerely, that it reaches someone and that something kicks off in the heavenlies which benefits the world in some way. I want so very much to hear from the Lord during this time and to see results in my prayers.
The verses above came to mind as I sat down to write, determined to find something. So, my #fortydaysofprayerhtb starts off with this:
PRAYER:  Lord, help me draw near to you so you will draw near to me. May I set aside time in these next 39 days to listen to what you put in my heart. May the Holy Spirit enable me to not divide myself towards the world but instead into your presence. Thank you Jesus for all your help in this matter. In your name I pray.  Amen.

Christian Snobs – Update 30th March, 2015

christian-snobbery

30th March, 2015

As some friends had contacted me to discuss how the posting had sounded almost contrary to the Lord’s teaching on not being yoked with unbelievers, (and I completely agree with what they had said about most definitely hearing from the Lord before proceeding with serious, committed relationships with non-believing Christians/interfaith marriages etc.), I wanted to clarify a few things as I had written and posted the blog late one night with out any serious editing having taken place. Apologies.

I wrote the posting on the blog with the understanding that we are about to embark on a whirwind/tsunami/typhoon of change. I have no idea exactly what is going to kick off but the words “Global Awakening Of All Human Life” are what I hear as I write.

I was sensing that from now on, we are to be more alert to the people around us.

This I am most certain of:  We’re on the point of a dramatic shift of which the world has never experienced. Our vision needs to be owl like and 360 degrees as opposed to only looking at what’s in front of us. We must be alert to those around us. There are also many things happening in the natural which are manifestations of the spiritual e.g desert storms and rainful here are the symbolisation of miraculous outpourings and changing dynamics and shifting sands of our lives as they once were. We are also seeing the desert begin to bloom once more.

If one definition of Revival is when people are more openly talking about Jesus and what He represents and the Father as a loving God, then we are most definitely in the thick of it here in the Middle East. I have seen miraculous healings almost every day ranging from toothache and mouth swelling disappearing to bee stings calming. I have been partaking in and overhearing conversations where people are openly talking about how they have recently started praying to Jesus again and seeing dramatic answers to prayers. Exciting times.

Singletons! We’ve been Christian Snobs for too long!

CHRISTIAN SNOBS FOR TOO LONG

FEBRUARY 24, 2015

the-snob

And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. (Ephesians 2:22 NIVUK)

Recently, I have been sensing in my heart that many Christian singletons are only looking to within the church walls for their partner but The Lord is saying to look to the highways and byways. The unions will come but they won’t look like what we have expected them to look like.

It is imperative to pray for courage and peace in all circumstances as The Lord is about to take people out of their stereotypes and preconceived notions of what godly relationships look like. We must step out of the comfort zone.

The Lord is highlighting the parable of the invitation to the feast. Today, many are behaving like smug Christians sitting around the table with The Lord, feeling a lot like they have made it into an exclusive club. But He is bored with their company and saddened by their attitudes and behaviour. He wants them to do as He did and get out there to seek and save the lost through the love which only comes from Him and which will change the world. This will be a huge risk and shake up but the Gospel will spread like wild fire.Pray for protection, courage, wisdom and love. Don’t you know that your eyes are the window to the soul? Be the salt and the light.

The Lord will fill you up but you must get out and bring the lost and lovely and lonely home to Jesus. Many will feel so very uncomfortable with these words but there is much relief and healing and love from heaven being poured out.

Many people will be attracted to Jesus through you. You must remain still and confident that He knows what He is doing and that His plans are for our prosperity not for harm. Quick fire results and rapid succession are here and now and are upon us in this time. The sparks will fame into flames.

Praise the LORD. Blessed are those who fear the LORD, who find great delight in his commands. Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in their houses, and their righteousness endures for ever. Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous. Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice. Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered for ever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD. Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes. They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor, their righteousness endures for ever; their horn will be lifted high in honour. The wicked will see and be vexed, they will gnash their teeth and waste away; the longings of the wicked will come to nothing. (Psalm 112:1-10 NIVUK)

As we go out in the power of the spirit others are and will be attracted to us but many have ignored them as they don’t look or sound like the Christian stereotypes we are looking at as our God given partners.

The gospel must spread. Every nation and tribe and knee will bow to the name of Jesus so do not be afraid of how uncomfortable this may seem and appear to be.

I am The Lord your God. I go before you. It is my good will to give you the gifts of the kingdom. Go and make disciples of all nations and know that I am with you always and especially know that my ways are not your ways. I only ask that you believe and have faith and act courageously as you step out of your comfort zone. What father when their child asks for food gives them a scorpion…? It is the Father’s good will and intention to give His children their hearts desire and reward them for doing right.

We’ve been Christian Snobs for too long! Enough! Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost and that all may have life in all its fullness. Widen the tent pegs and step out of the comfort zones! He is with us all forever and ever! Trust in The Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will a) make your path straight and b) give you your hearts desire.

Fissures of Men

A word for this year, 2015:

We as believers will become more like ‘Fissures of Men’ ie pains in the backsides of those who are caught in the midst of the Glory Fall of this coming year. To those perishing we are a stale stench; to those who believe, we are a sweet smelling fragrance. http://biblehub.com/2_corinthians/2-15.htm

We will be caught in the midst of the War for our Peace. Stand firm and be rooted at all times in the peace of Jesus which will pass all understanding and keep your hearts and minds in the knowledge and the love of Christ.

Also be prepared for more false prophets to arise in the midst of the outpouring of all prophesying in the last days. Pray for the discernment and stillness of mind to recognise all things that are not of Jesus.

There is going to be a serious power surge within the Christian community and many will fall away.We must hold fast to the mast of the sails on the boat He puts us into this year. We have been prepared through our sacrifices for this time. The religious spirit and those who are living unholy lives will be exposed. Keep focused on the promises of Christ esp that of the rainbow- see the video clip I shot on Christmas Eve. God’s promises and power are co existent and never fail.
Peace out. Lovelovelove 💕🙏
